"Rashoman", Montgomery College

This photograph shows the closing moment of the show.  Throughout the show, the primary playing space -- a revolve depicting Japanese woods -- had been surrounded by bamboo trees and coarse, onionbag scrim.  Behind all that, we placed a conventional black scrim, and behind that a cyc. For this final moment, we brought up the cyc, revealing a silhouette of Mt. Fuji, with a red plexiglass sun rising in the distance.
